I figured they would only last 20 minutes in the sprinker-last year it seemed like we spent more time getting changed and setting out the sprinkler than we did actually playing in the sprinkler. Today they played in it for an hour and a half-and they were upset when I shut it off!
They would fill their buckets in the sprinkler, then dump them into the watering can on the sandbox.
