Ben and Kirby were married on Saturday, July 26. On Friday, we had the rehearsal dinner. I wasn't sure how Elijah would do walking down the aisle with Libbie, but during the rehearsal they did it twice! Elijah even hung out a little with the groomsmen.Pictures on Saturday went amazing well-Elijah stood where he needed to be and didn't move around all that much. I'm not sure that he smiled in any of the pictures, but you can't get it all. When it came to walking down the aisle this time, Libbie decided that she had better things to do. Elijah was all ready to go which really surprised me-I figured Libbie would've been the one waiting to drag Elijah down the aisle! Since Libbie wouldn't walk, Curt picked her up and carried her while holding Elijah's hand. Elijah stood at the altar with Ben for a little while, but then started saying Ben's name because he wanted him to pick him up. He ended up going to sit with Grandpa Jeff, and quickly fell asleep. He slept through the wedding and was ready to go for the rest of the night!
Elijah had fun running around before the dance with Braeden and Bryce, though during the dance he wouldn't go play anymore. He really wanted to dance, but had to be held. He danced a little with Mom, Grandma Nina, and Sally (his favorite). We tried to get him to dance with Libbie, but the most he would do is follow her while she held his hand and dragged him around the dance floor.
All in all it was a good day-Seth was really good too! Both boys looked adorable in their outfits-Elijah in his tux and Seth in his little outfit that looked like he was part of the wedding party.
